Google Reputation Monitoring

Know what changes before deciding how to respond. Request a monitoring assessment for your name, business, search results, reviews, and recurring reputation concerns.

Agree on what gets monitored

  • Names and variations: your full name, business name, and relevant spelling variations.
  • Search results: new pages, important ranking changes, and previously removed URLs returning.
  • Reviews and public mentions: agreed profiles and sources, with links and dates.
  • AI Overviews and AI Mode: a defined set of queries and prompts, captured as dated samples.

A useful alert includes the evidence

Record the source URL, date observed, query, what changed, and why it matters. Separate a restored page from a new republication and a changed search ranking. Each needs a different response.

AI monitoring requires repeatable checks

Save the exact prompt, follow-up context, visible answer, and cited links. Repeat a consistent query set and record when no AI answer appears. A single sample is not a universal view of what every user sees.

Scope and pricing

Request a written proposal defining sources, query limits, check frequency, alert delivery, reporting, and fees. Monitoring detects changes; investigation and removal work should be priced and scoped separately. Coverage is limited to agreed accessible sources and cannot guarantee detection of every mention.

Start with a baseline

  • List the names, URLs, and questions that matter most.
  • Record current results and identify priority risks.
  • Agree on what triggers an alert and who handles it.
  • Compare dated checks and track the outcome of each response.
